It was only a few days ago that I was telling my son about Jim Allen of Sid Harvey. When I first met Jim I was a young inexpeienced HVAC guy trying to learn the trade, and Jim Allen was always there, with the patience and willingness to help, and share His vast knowledge of the HVAC industry with what must have seemed to Him like a lost cause.Jim was one of the first to set up a line of credit for me when my partner and I started Accu-Temp Inc.The last time I saw Jim was at Johnstone Supply a few years ago.I was able to tell him at that time how much he had helped me and how much I appreciated His help thru the years.I will miss him,and will always have fond memories of Him.

Theresa and I extend our heartfelt condolences to the Allen family at this sad time. Jim and Jane have been wonderful friends to my parents, Carl and Thelma Rothrock, over the years, and we are truly grateful that they have lived so near each other for such a long time. I’m glad I was able to visit both Jim and Jane this past February. I’m confident that Jim has joined my father in Heaven, and we all can take comfort in that.

Jim was a wonderful friend to my dad, Carl “Rocky” Rothrock, who passed on more than 18 years ago. We have never forgotten the kindness Jim extended to him, and are certain Dad was waiting to welcome Jim to his new heavenly home.

Dear Jane and Family,
I was saddened to read of Jim’s passing in the paper. It seems so sudden and unexpected. I have only fond memories of Jim and enjoyed his friendship and trust over the 25 years I had the pleasure of knowing him. I know everyone is thankful that he is now in a better place.
